Grade Description

Gr17 Ti-0.04~0.08Pd titanium wire is defined under ASTM B863. It adopts low-oxygen Grade1 pure titanium as base with trace palladium addition to improve crevice corrosion resistance. Gr17 differs from Gr16: Gr16 uses standard oxygen Gr2 base, Gr17 uses low oxygen Gr1 base for better ductility. Gr7 is reserved for strong reducing acid working conditions. Our Gr17 titanium wire is supplied to seawater and hydrometallurgy EPC projects in Egypt, Ecuador and Portugal.
