Gr16 Ti-0.04~0.08Pd titanium wire is defined under ASTM B863, based on Grade2 pure titanium with low palladium addition for crevice corrosion protection. Unlike Gr7 (0.12~0.25%Pd) designed for strong reducing acid, Gr16 targets chloride crevice corrosion scenarios with optimized cost.
