Grade Description

Gr17 Ti-0.04~0.08Pd titanium wire is defined under ASTM B863. It adopts low-oxygen Grade1 pure titanium as base with trace palladium addition to improve crevice corrosion resistance. Gr17 differs from Gr16: Gr16 uses standard oxygen Gr2 base, Gr17 uses low oxygen Gr1 base for better ductility. Gr7 is reserved for strong reducing acid working conditions.
