What is a Class 300 Titanium Weld Neck Flange?
A weld neck flange (WN) has a long tapered hub butt-welded to the pipe, giving the best fatigue, thermal-cycle and stress-distribution performance of all flange types. Class 300 is a higher-pressure ASME B16.5 designation than Class 150, used for corrosive process lines where pressure, temperature and sealing reliability all matter.
Made from titanium Gr2 (TA2), the flange resists chlorides, seawater, dilute acid and oxidizing media where stainless steel pits or cracks. For severe crevice-corrosion duty, Gr12 (TA10) is offered.
