[ Material Performance ]

Monel 400 has excellent passivation performance in hydrofluoric acid, seawater, saline water and strong alkali environment, erosion corrosion resistance, and is not easy to produce pitting corrosion and intercrystalline crack; It has advantages of nickel and copper, high strength, good toughness and excellent cold and hot processing performance; Stable mechanical property at high temperature within 500 ℃; It is non-magnetic and will not precipitate out metal impurities to pollute the medium. It is suitable for high-purity corrosive fluid.

[ Process structure ]

Uniform melting of ingot, strict control of component segregation and uniform overall structure; Hot rolling process can eliminate internal porosity and porosity defects, and annealing can completely release the processing stress, so it is not easy to deform and crack during processing; The surface of the cold-drawn bright bar is smooth, the tolerance is precise, and the finishing allowance is reduced; Re-inspection of spectrum composition shall be carried out for each batch, ultrasonic detection shall be carried out for large diameter bars one by one, and internal microcracks and inclusion defects shall be removed.
