Most mills say "minimum 50kg per diameter, no mix, no sample". We run a separate small-batch line because we know how the shop floor actually works:

• Welding workshop qualifies a new WPS → needs 2 spools, not 2 drums
• R&D bench tests Ti wire feed → 1kg decides pass/fail, not 50kg
• Distributor trials a new diameter → sample first, bulk after
• Field repair team stuck overseas → air-freight 3kg, not wait for FCL

Small order here means: 1 spool minimum, D200 (5kg) or split-weight 1–3kg, same pickling + vacuum + MTC 3.1 as a 500kg drum. No "small order = plastic bag + photocopy cert".

What "Small Order Accepted" Actually Means

Honest line: small order costs more per kg than FCL. That is physics, not a markup trick. But you get the same ingot pedigree, same interstitial control, same seal.

Why Small Orders Still Need Full MTC

• WPS qualification requires measured O/H/N/C on file — "sample no cert" fails audit
• Lab correlation: you test weld properties on 2kg, then order 200kg from same heat → MTC lot link makes it defensible
• Import customs in some jurisdictions rejects "no-cert metal wire" regardless of value
• Traceability is not volume-dependent — either the heat number exists or it doesn't

We don't offer "cheap no-paper version". Small order = small invoice, full documentation.
