Titanium Pipe Fittings Guide

Titanium Pipe Fittings Guide: ASTM B363 Elbows, Tees, Reducers and Stub Ends from Stock

When a titanium piping system needs to change direction, branch or transition between sizes, the fittings must match the pipe schedule, corrosion rating and welding procedure. Sourcing fittings individually—rather than as part of a full mill package—is where a stock-holding supplier saves real money and time.

Types of Titanium Pipe Fittings Stocked

  • 90° and 45° elbows — Long radius (LR) and short radius (SR)
  • Equal and reducing tees — For branched connections
  • Concentric and eccentric reducers — Size transitions
  • Caps — For blanking pipe ends
  • Stub ends — For lap joint flange connections
  • Lap joint fittings — Removable flange assemblies

Custom radii and non-standard angles

Non-standard bend radii and angles (e.g., 30°, 60°, 120°) can be fabricated to drawing with short lead times.

Grades and Standards

  • Grades: Gr1, Gr2, Gr7, Gr12
  • Standards: ASTM B363, ASME B16.9, MSS SP-43
  • Size range: 1/2"–24" NPS
  • Schedules: Sch 5S, 10S, 40S, 80S

Stock: 3,000+ pieces across common NPS sizes.

Butt-Weld vs Socket-Weld

  • Butt-weld fittings: Full penetration welds, used for most process piping. Available in all sizes.
  • Socket-weld fittings: For smaller sizes (1/2"–2"), easier fit-up, used where full penetration is not required.

Mixed Pallets — No Minimum Order Per Fitting Type

Because fittings are stocked as individual pieces, you can order one elbow, three tees and forty reducers on a single shipment. This is critical for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) buying where a plant needs five different fitting types in small quantities.

Typical Applications

  • Chemical plant process piping
  • Seawater cooling systems
  • Chlor-alkali production lines
  • Pharmaceutical process pipework
  • Desalination trains
  • Offshore oil and gas topside piping

How to Quote

Send your fitting schedule as a list:

1 × 90° elbow, 3", Sch 40S, Gr2, ASTM B363
2 × reducing tee, 4" × 3", Sch 40S, Gr2
4 × concentric reducer, 6" × 4", Sch 40S, Gr2
