Zero-Cutting Service (Cut-to-Size)

As an inventory holder, we do not only sell full plates. Our workshop provides:

• Shearing for plates ≤ 12mm thickness
• Plasma cutting for plates 12–50mm
• Waterjet cutting for precision profiles (tolerances ±0.5mm)
• Band saw cutting for block/blank preparation

Cutting is performed after order confirmation, based on customer drawings or dimension specifications. Small offcuts from zero-cutting are available at reduced rates upon request.

Q1: Do you sell full plates or only cut pieces?
A: We supply both. Full plates from stock or cut-to-size pieces starting from small offcuts. MOQ is flexible — we accept single-piece orders for standard sizes.

Q2: What is your typical lead time for cut plates?
A: For in-stock Gr2 plates, cutting and dispatch within 24 hours if order confirmed before 3 PM China time. Thick plates (>20mm) or precision cutting (waterjet) may require 2–3 working days.

Q3: Can you provide third-party inspection?
A: Yes. SGS, BV, TUV inspection can be arranged at buyer's cost. We coordinate mill visit and material sampling.

Q4: What standards do your plates comply with?
A: Primary standard is ASTM B265. We also supply plates meeting AMS 4911 (aerospace), GB/T 3621 (Chinese domestic), and EN 485 (European) upon request.

Q5: How do you handle export customs and documentation?
A: We prepare full export documentation including commercial invoice, packing list, MTC, COO, and MSDS. For restricted destinations, additional certificates (e.g., dual-use declaration) may be required — please confirm with your local import regulations.

Q6: Can I get a small sample piece before bulk order?
A: Yes. Sample pieces (100×100mm or similar) can be cut from stock and shipped via courier (DHL/FedEx) at cost. Sample fee is deductible from subsequent bulk orders.

Q7: What payment terms do you accept?
A: T/T (30% advance, 70% before dispatch) is standard. L/C at sight accepted for orders above USD 10,000. Other terms negotiable for established customers.

Q8: How do you prevent plate surface damage during cutting and packing?
A: Each cut piece is interleaved with protective film or paper, edges padded with foam, and packed in wooden crate with moisture-proof lining. For thin sheets, we use flat steel frames to prevent bending.

Q9: Do you stock titanium clad plates?
A: We do not manufacture clad plates in-house, but we source from partner mills and supply as distributor. Lead time 2–4 weeks. Send your cladding ratio and base metal spec for quotation.

Q10: Can you match my drawing tolerances?
A: Yes. We cut to drawing dimensions with standard tolerance ±0.5mm for shearing, ±0.2mm for waterjet. Tighter tolerances available — specify on drawing. Our team reads both metric and imperial drawings.
