Titanium and nickel alloys for marine and offshore service

Seawater is aggressive to most engineering metals, and titanium and nickel alloys are the standard choice where long service life in splash zone, submerged and offshore environments is required. Typical applications include desalination plant heat exchangers and piping, offshore platform components, seawater cooling systems, propellers and fasteners.

Commercially pure titanium (Gr2) and Gr7 are widely used in seawater service; nickel alloys such as Monel 400 and Inconel 625 serve in higher-strength offshore components. Materials are supplied to ASTM standards with mill certificates suitable for marine project documentation.

We supply marine grade titanium and nickel alloy plate, tube, pipe, bar and flange stock, with export-grade packing suitable for sea freight to project sites.
