WN vs Blind — Which One Do You Actually Need?

They are not interchangeable. WN carries the weld; blind carries the pressure at a dead end. Quoting "one flange" without type = quoting blind.

A: Ambient–moderate T, yes. Hot concentrated brine crevice → Gr7/Gr12 review first.

Q3: Forged or cast?
A: Closed-die forged B381. No cast pressure flange.

Q4: RTJ available?
A: Yes — groove machined to B16.5, common at Class 600+.

Q5: Can WN bore match SCH 5S?
A: Yes — bore machined to pipe wall; state SCH on RFQ, don't assume STD.
