Welding filler must follow the base metal. 200/201 → ERNi-1; 625 → ERNiCrMo-3; C-276 → ERNiCrMo-4; Monel → ERNiCu-7. Welding nickel alloys with 316L filler wire is not cost saving — it is a pre-installed failure.
