Meta Description: Fine titanium wire for medical mesh from Baoji — ASTM F67 Gr1/Gr2 (CP) and F136 Gr23 ELI, Ø0.05–0.5mm, ±0.002mm tolerance, bright/electropolished, ultrasonic-clean, lot-traceable MTR. For precision weave, Dutch weave, braid-reinforced tubing, implant-grade mesh. Medical chain isolated from industrial stock.
Medical mesh lives or dies on wire consistency, not on a "titanium" label. A 0.1mm wire that drifts ±0.01mm will show up as:
We supply fine titanium wire for medical mesh in two clean chains:
Industrial B863 Gr1 is NOT shipped as F67 unless the PO names F67 + medical clean chain. No silent upgrade, no silent downgrade.
| Grade | Standard | Why mesh uses it | Typical mesh use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gr1 (CP Ti) | ASTM F67 | Softest, best drawability, ultra-low springback | Fine filtration, Dutch weave, soft-tissue / dental mesh |
| Gr2 (CP Ti) | ASTM F67 | Balanced strength + corrosion | General medical sieve, pharma filter roll |
| Gr23 ELI | ASTM F136 / ISO 5832-3 | High strength, low interstitial, fatigue-resistant | Implant-grade structural mesh, bone-graft containment |
Rule: non-implant / external-contact filtration → F67 Gr1. Load-bearing implant → F136 Gr23, with device master-file traceability.
| Range | Tolerance | Form | Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.05–0.10 mm | ±0.002 mm | Level-wound spool | 120–200 mesh Dutch weave, micro filtration |
| 0.10–0.25 mm | ±0.003 mm | Spool / coil | 60–100 mesh plain/twill, pharma screen |
| 0.25–0.50 mm | ±0.005 mm | Spool / straight on request | 40–80 mesh implant frame mesh |
Multi-pass diamond-die drawing; roundness checked per lot. Elliptical wire rejected before spooling — it is the #1 cause of aperture drift in fine mesh.
Surface is not cosmetic. For mesh in body-fluid contact, Ra and particulate load drive cytocompatibility far more than the brochure "99.5% Ti" line.
| Grade | UTS | YS | Elong |
|---|---|---|---|
| F67 Gr1 | ≥240 MPa | ≥170 MPa | ≥24% |
| F67 Gr2 | ≥345 MPa | ≥275 MPa | ≥20% |
| F136 Gr23 | ≥860 MPa | ≥795 MPa | ≥10% |
Values per ASTM F67 / F136 annealed min. Fine-wire measured values reported on MTR per lot; spring-temper variants quoted PO-stated.[9](@ref)
Tell us weave type + mesh count + warp/weft diameter — we match cast/helix so the warping machine does not fight the wire.
| Chain | Status |
|---|---|
| F67 Gr1 0.10–0.30mm | Qualified heats rotate; cut/pack after lot confirm |
| F67 Gr2 0.15–0.50mm | Project heats, PO-fronted |
| F136 Gr23 0.15–0.50mm | VAR double melt, ELI chain, separate schedule |
| Sub-0.10mm / electropolish / cleanroom | Custom draw + clean line, lead quoted before PI |
No "all micron sizes same-day". Medical chain = scheduled, not rushed.

Q1: Can industrial Gr1 replace F67 for mesh?
A: Chemically close, but not document-equivalent. Implant/device filing needs F67 on the cert line + medical clean chain. We keep the two chains separate.
Q2: Smallest diameter you draw?
A: 0.05mm on medical ELI/drawing chain; sub-0.10mm quoted with draw schedule + yield loss disclosed.
Q3: Electropolish necessary?
A: For implant-surface contact, yes — Ra ≤0.2μm reduces particulate adhesion. External filtration can run bright-pickled.
Q4: Will it break on the loom?
A: Roundness + cast control is what prevents warp breakage. We reject elliptical lots before spooling, not after your loom stalls.
Q5: Gr23 too stiff for fine mesh?
A: Stiffer than Gr1, yes. 0.15–0.30mm Gr23 weaves well with correct tension; below 0.10mm Gr1/F67 is the safer draw.
Q6: MTR real interstitials?
A: Yes — O/H/N/C measured per lot, F136 O≤0.13%.
Q7: Cleanroom pack?
A: ISO 11607 peel pouch + tyvek + desiccant, PO-stated. Not default on industrial orders.
Q8: Dutch weave warp/weft different Ø?
A: Common. Send warp + weft diameters; we supply two spools, one heat family, separate tags.
Q9: Biocompatibility test (ISO 10993)?
A: Material meets F67/F136 chemistry + MTR; full device-biocompatibility dossier is customer-device responsibility. We supply material-level data pack to support it.
Q10: Lead time?
A: F67 common Ø → lot-confirmed, same working week. F136 ELI / sub-0.10mm / electropolish → melt+clean schedule quoted before PI.

About: Baoji Titanium Valley fine-wire line for medical mesh. ASTM F67 Gr1/Gr2 and F136 Gr23 ELI, Ø0.05–0.5mm, ±0.002mm class, bright/electropolished, ultrasonic-clean, lot-traceable ingot-to-spool. Two chains — CP medical and ELI implant — never blended with industrial B863. Draw to the loom, not to the slogan.
