Product Description: Professional titanium flanges for chemical pipeline projects, ASME B16.5 & ASTM B363 compliant. Gr2, Gr7, TC4 for corrosive chemical medium, complete MTC and inspection documents available.
Meta Description: Titanium Flanges for chemical pipeline projects — ASTM B381 Gr2/Gr7/Gr12/Gr5, ASME B16.5 WN/SO/Blind/RTJ, grade matched to medium + temperature, UT+PT+PMI, EN 10204 3.1, project NDE dossier. Lot-confirmed dispatch, FOB Shanghai.
| Service | Default grade | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Seawater, brine, wet chlorine, oxidizing chloride, nitric (compatible) | Gr2 (F-2/R50400/3.7035) | Stable oxide film, best lifecycle cost |
| Dilute HCl / H₂SO₄, reducing acid, pickling, chlor-alkali acid side | Gr7 (F-7, Pd) | Pd keeps passive film in reducing acid; Pd by chemistry + PMI |
| Hot chloride crevice, high-T brine, desalination + acid mix | Gr12 (Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni) | Crevice + moderate reducing resistance, stronger than CP Ti |
| High-pressure skid / load-governed nozzle | Gr5 (TC4/F-5/R56400) | Strength-to-weight; WPS qualified first |
Rule: corrosion isocorrosion chart by acid + concentration + temperature decides, not "titanium resists everything". HF, dry chlorine, red fuming nitric = excluded.

Q1: Is Gr2 always enough for chemical lines?
A: For oxidizing chloride/seawater/weak acid — yes, most cost-effective. Reducing acid (HCl/H₂SO₄ hot) → Gr7; hot crevice → Gr12.
Q2: WN or SO for a reactor nozzle?
A: WN — full-penetration, stress flow, radiograph-friendly. SO only for low-P utility runs.
Q3: Can titanium bolt directly to carbon steel flange?
A: Not without insulation kit. Galvanic attack eats the steel, not the titanium. Use insulating sleeves/washers.
Q4: RTJ ring material?
A: Soft iron / 316L / Inconel. Titanium ring galls under bolt load — never used.
Q5: RT on flange body?
A: UT+PT on forging; RT only on declared welds per ITP. We don't fake "full-disc RT".
Q6: Gr7 proof?
A: Pd by MTC chemistry + PMI. Label alone never proves Gr7.
Q7: 3.2 for project audit?
A: TPI named at PO; witnesses forge+NDE. Cannot be back-built from 3.1.
Q8: Hydro test on flange only?
A: No — hydro is spool/vessel scope. Flange ships with NDE + 3.1; hydro at assembly.
Q9: HF / dry chlorine?
A: Titanium excluded. Red line stated upfront, no workaround offered.
Q10: HS code?
A: WCO 6-digit 8108.90 base; destination sub-heading via broker.

About: Baoji Titanium Valley chemical-pipeline flange line — ASTM B381 Gr2/Gr7/Gr12/Gr5, ASME B16.5, closed-die forged + in-house CNC, UT+PT+PMI, EN 10204 3.1, project NDE dossier (RT on welds per ITP). Grade matched to medium, not to habit. No cast substitute, no Pd-by-label, no graphite-on-titanium gasket advice, no cert downgrade. Lot confirmed before PI; tag = MTC = PL = weld map.
