Grade Description

Gr2 is widely used commercially pure titanium defined under ASTM B863 and GB/T43302 for additive manufacturing wire. Compared with Gr1, Gr2 has slightly higher oxygen content and strength. Compared with Gr5 alloy, Gr2 features superior corrosion resistance and simpler forming process without high residual stress. It serves as the universal feedstock for most WAAM corrosion equipment.
